This one- and two-story bank is a fascinating exercise in sculptural shaping. Vertical cylinders of different heights appear to extrude thick upper-level wall planes that bridge over and shelter the windows and glass entrance door. The bold massing gives the travertine-walled Brutalist bank its emphatic visual presence along an otherwise forgettable commercial strip.
