The Amarillo-based firm designed the three-story tawny brick courthouse in a restrained Art Deco style. The central three-bay block of the nine-bay-wide building projects forward with a tall stone cornice flanked by a pair of herms, reminiscent of the Cottle County Courthouse (PH1). Broad pilasters between the windows conclude with stone ornament in a stepped design, and a stone-faced triple-arched portico marks the principal entrance.
