This ensemble, although nominally in what might be called a Colonial Revival idiom, is really more a sophisticated example of the Arts and Crafts movement. The attribution to Lee is based on his design of similar houses around Richmond. The building is red brick with half timbering. The massing of differently shaped facades and roofs—hipped, gable, jerkinhead—and the dormers create a lively and picturesque grouping.
