This house is one of the largest in the neighborhood. Anderson's approach to the Colonial Revival, as in this design, was to greatly inflate the different elements and combine features from a number of different sources. On a twoand-one-half-story brick block, Anderson put a giant columnar portico, and then a secondfloor balcony. On the ground floor, the portico is flanked by fanlighted windows, while above the windows are banked and capped with prominent keystones and lintels.
