The Administrative Offices complex is composed of three buildings: the Administrative Services Building, the Jail, and the Sheriff's Office. As was fashionable for civic buildings when the Administrative Services Building was constructed, it is a Brutalist design, emphasizing the strength of government. Above a recessed first story of brown brick are three stories of cream-colored cast concrete. Tall and narrow brown-tinted windows form a grid across the second and third stories and the upper story is primarily made up of large textured panels separating a few windows. A single-story, hexagonal auditorium centered on the facade accommodates the Board of Supervisors meeting room. The Sheriff's Office and the Jail are one-story brick buildings with concrete-framed windows and a concrete cornice.
