Appearing much earlier than the date ascribed to it, this brick house in the Federal style has a formal five-bay main block. A recessed side wing is fronted with a two-tiered porch, covered by an extension of the gabled roof. The brick end wall of the wing, another example of a Berkeley porch, extends to the front line, providing a windbreak.
