One of the oldest houses in town, this two-story, three-bay brick building displays Greek Revival affinities in its rectangular entrance (with transom and side lights) and in the broad, flat profiles of its cornice. The one-story porch and rear wings are later additions. Since 1991 the house has served as the sales office and showroom for Cabin Creek Quilts, a well-known West Virginia cottage industry, which explains its current color (pink) and the graphic “quilt” pattern affixed to an otherwise unadorned side wall.
