Four concrete catenary roofs with 120-foot spans rise into a central spire, creating a concave dome centered over the altar of this church in the round. The Boulder architect, an admirer of Frank Lloyd Wright and Bruce Goff, created organic architecture according to Goff's definition: “that which grows from within outward through the natural use of materials so the form is one with function.” This eye-catching church in an open field has been likened to everything from a sagging tent to soaring sculpture that suggests the snowcapped Rockies.
