Anthony Pellecchia, a Philadelphia-trained protégé of Louis I. Kahn, started this project as a renovation of an 1880s mansard-roofed house. In the end he tore down the old house to build a Post-modern replacement “in the spirit of the original.” A two-story bay with horizontal bracing overlooks a sunken terrace garden.
