Built of adobe as a parochial school, this became home for the Sisters of Mercy when a new school opened one block north. After the sisters closed the school and departed, the parish converted the building to a bed and breakfast inn in 1980. A crafts shop occupies the former first-floor chapel. The exterior is stuccoed on the first floor, with wooden shingles on the frame second story. On the second floor, the nuns' nine cells have been converted to four large guest rooms decorated with antique hand-carved furniture and religious folk art.
