An example of how additions can expand an adobe home as a family grows, Corpus Gallegos's two-story stuccoed adobe has an added gable roof and three wood-frame dormers above the wide, stuccoed front porch. A small balcony in the middle of the east facade as well as additions on the south side and rear modify the original plan of rooms arranged on either side of a central hallway.
