Herman H. Heiser, a maker of custom saddlery, placed his monogram in the floor tiles of the front porch of his two-story Queen Anne residence. Particularly impressive is the entry door with leaded glass side lights and transom and the tower at the southwest corner. Interior wood-work, paneling, and doors are beautifully matched, with different woods in each room. The restored house has a four-car garage added in 1989, meticulously detailed to match even the narrow mortar joints of the house.
