This replica of an old-style clapboard depot has bracketed eaves and fishscale shingles on its cross-gable ends. Double-hung windows and large, arched transoms in the north and south gable entrances make it a bright, see-through, glass and frame passenger station. On old-fashioned curved oak benches inside, passengers await trains that, according to a railroad attendant, are “usually three to five hours late.” The old depot, now a freight and storage shed, is next door.
