A pedestrian bridge (1985, Hauter and Associates) over the Colorado River leads to a paved trail along it and its tributary, the Roaring Fork River. A covered rest area at the south end has red roof tiles like those of the nearby train depot. A train-watching deck has a display guide to rail sights and signals. Another riverside building is the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts, originally the Glenwood Electric Company (1886), 601 6th St.
