Jail

-A A +A
1890s. End of Walnut St.

A low-slung, hewn log structure with a metal roof, heavy timber shutters, and steel-barred windows, the Tincup jail has ceiling logs that extend through the front gable and dovetailed log walls that project beyond the corners. Even the outhouse has an outside lock.
