John Moore, a prominent orchard and sugar beet farm owner, was the original owner of this stuccoed two-story house. The vernacular Mission Revival design incorporates hipped dormers, rounded parapets, and tripartite windows. The roof ends are decoratively bracketed, and beveled and leaded glass fills the rounded tops and upper sashes of twenty-five windows. Stone lions flanking the entry are recent, as are architecturally integrated rear additions.
