The Ellison House was built for the owner of a local lumber company who personally selected each board and supervised the meticulous detail incorporated in the construction. This frame bungalow has a full-width screened porch with tapered wood columns, a low gable roof with hipped gable ends, an attic dormer, bracketed eaves, and large, double-hung windows.
