Reflecting pre-fabricated construction common in the area, this colored precast concrete structure has a corrugated, galvanized metal backside. The facade is decorated by three large panels of dinosaur glyphs mounted above the doors. Concrete fins protruding from the facade serve as exterior exhibit panels. This striking welcome station greets tourists on U.S. 40, which between Dinosaur and the Utah line offers only a few abandoned motels and cafes that are now sinking back into the sand and sagebrush.
