A. Oldland and Company Store (Hugus and Company Block)
This beige brick two-story commercial block with foundation and trim of local sandstone was built as part of a northwestern Colorado department store chain. It remains a department store with a wooden floor, 20-foothigh pressed metal ceiling, and golden oak display cabinets. Transomed storefronts and large, paired second-floor windows flood the store with daylight.
