Lowell Thomas Museum

1899. Southeast corner of Victor Ave. and 3rd St.

Built as the Reynolds Block, this two-story brick building with large, square, plate glass windows has egg-and-dart detailing and window surrounds of rough-faced stone. The building housed Tomkins Hardware, the Victor Mining Stock Exchange, Victor Dry Goods, and the Hackley Furniture Store over the years before its conversion to a museum commemorating Victor's most famous resident, who worked at the Victor Record before attaining international fame as a radio correspondent.
