Plantation Store

-A A +A
1935, William C. Furer. Renton Rd.

A steep, double-pitched hipped roof dominates this pavilion-shaped building with shallow wings. The roof, with its shed-roofed dormer, disguises the two-story height of the building, which is readily evident in the rear. An inset lanai, following the contours of the facade, contributes a tropical ambiance. The store is now used as a preschool.
