This 1920s version of an English medieval manor house almost seems like a fragment of a castle. The height of the brick walls is accentuated by compositions of vertical windows. The steeply pitched roof is enriched by various forms of dormers, parapeted gables, and chimneys. The roof, strongly accentuated by multicolored slate, adds to the building's romantic charm, as does the red trim and cream infill.
