A pristine two-story rectangular box clad in dark brick contains a band of glass that extends from end to end on the second floor. Below, there is an entrance within a cut-in space, defined to each side by tubular columns. A similar play between glass brought right to the surface of the surrounding brick walls and a cut-in entrance occurs on the building's east facade. The row of trees bordering the sidewalk along the south front helps to relate the building to the older streetscape, but still this elegant design seems to have little to do with the downtown of a small city.
