While this red brick Italianate dwelling is an excellent example of this style in the 1870s, it is the brick outbuildings that attract one's attention. One of the two-story stable/barns has a low central roof monitor, outlined on all four sides by small windows. The outbuildings, like the house, have hipped roofs with eaves supported by pairs of small, delicate brackets.
