A boxlike two-story late Italianate dwelling has been made more commanding by the addition of a fancifully detailed wraparound porch. The entablature of the flat-roofed porch exhibits a pattern of small brackets; between the wood piers, below the entablature, is a cutout pattern that curves upward, then bends downward at the center. The house is sheathed in clapboard and has segmental arched windows; there is a grouping of pairs of brackets under the main roof.
