This small octagon house is realized in ashlar block limestone. There are wide segmental openings within each wall. Some of these have been filled in with stone, others contain pairs of double-hung windows or doors. A wide entablature plus a bracketed roof suggest that the designer/builder had an Italianate image in mind. The small shed roof over the main entrance is probably not original.
