Everything seems “normal” about this medieval-inspired design except for the overscaled tower with its crenellations and extended miniature corner turrets. The tower is delicately supported on the ground level by a single post at the corner, which in turn supports the spring of the two segmental arches. This tower and the small bay window next to it indicate either a casualness of approach to design or great erudition on the part of the architect. The wood-sheathed building has been covered in stucco.
