The roof plunges over a wide porch that is carried across the front of this one-and-a-half-story bungalow. The ends of the porch are supported by overscaled wide brick piers. At the center of the porch is a gabled roof with an unusual U-shaped dormer (the center section of which has been set far back into the roof). The sides and rear walls of the dwelling reveal a rich irregular pattern of windows and doors (seemingly casually arranged, but in fact well composed); the front itself, however, presents a symmetrical composition. The house is quite coloristic, with red brick walls below, dark stained wood siding above, blue trim, and an orange tile roof.
