The two-story, side-gable, symmetrical, classical box-type house was built of local limestone by Kinsey, who was a local stonemason. It is arranged with a central entrance flanked by two windows on the first story. On the second story are four windows across the front. The rusticated cement-block front porch and chimney were added later.
