Though certainly not by Frank Lloyd Wright, he is surely the inspiration for this unusual Prairie Style house. The geometric massing and earth-toned coloring of Bloomsburg Silk Mills operator William F. Gunter's house stands aloof from its fancy Victorian neighbors on the same street. One such is the c. 1890 Queen Anne house at 414 S. Market Street built for T. L. “Monument Man” Gunton, owner of the Marble and Granite Works.
