Number 17 is a typical five-bay, central-chimney Federal house (the chimney now reduced in size) with a cushioned-frieze door frame and original paneled door. Number 15, attached to the west end of number 17, is a late Greek Revival five-bay house with central entrance; its twentieth-century owners, amused by the abundance of historic markers on Main Street, have erected a small oval plaque commemorating the residence of “Increase Heartburn, 1971.”
