Isaac Peace Rodman House (The Stone House)

Mostly screened from the road, this beautifully crafted house of quarry-faced, square-cut gray granite has the severity of mill construction, relieved by a broad porch across the front, broad eaves, a row of tiny dormers, and, capping the hipped roof, a cupola monitor—all features of the Italian Villa Style. A service ell behind abuts what is otherwise a compact, squarish block.
