This two-story commercial building, with its cast-iron and pressed-metal detailing of raised diamonds is very likely the work of Mesker Brothers of St. Louis. The Mesker firm supplied a large number of essentially prefabricated metal facades for commercial buildings in Texas and elsewhere.
