Reuter Building

-A A +A
1891, James Wahrenberger. 217 Alamo Plaza
  • (Photograph by Gerald Moorhead )

This four-story office building's complex facade with its projecting bays on the third floor provided excellent views of the Alamo to its upper-floor business tenants. The red brick walls with contrasting cream limestone trim and the animated roofline add a touch of Victorian exuberance to the solemnity of Alamo Plaza.
