This house, a sedate version of Colonial Revival, is now the center of a foundation that provides funding for cultural and educational programs for the county's residents and students. The two-story frame and weatherboarded building has a one-story Tuscan-columned porch with a balustraded deck that stretches across the central three bays of the facade, and three large gabled dormers. Second-floor windows have segmental-arched heads and a wooden modillion cornice extends across the facade.
