Pettit designed this four-story brick building to accommodate the lodge and several apartments for visiting members. It has an eye-catching facade lightly touched by Craftsman influence with basketweave brick spandrels accented with terra-cotta, a chevron band of glazed yellow and green tiles, concrete clocks set permanently at the eleventh hour, and panels with inscriptions of Elk mottos. A statue of an elk watches from the entrance steps. The building is set back from its property line and preceded by a small landscaped area behind a low brick wall and a terrace.
