An Italianate flavor pervades this sprightly three-story, three-bay brick commercial building with its heavy window lintels, elaborate bracketed cornice, and triangular pediment over the central bay. The first floor is faced with a cast iron facade that carries labels at the pilaster bases: “The L. Schreiber & Sons, Co. Iron Works Cin. O.” Smaller, good-neighbor buildings on both sides also have Italianate details but lack the exuberance of their taller companion.
