Richard Weeks of Buena Vista was paid $2,175 to design and erect this one-room school with a stone foundation and a teacher's platform. The conventional lap-sided structure is enhanced by round-arched wooden window and door trim and the usual open bell tower. Since the school closed in 1946, the building has served as a community center.
