This four-story Romanesque Revival edifice is pressed brick with sandstone trim on multi-story bays and pilasters that terminate in arches. A pediment with an implied arcade breaks the cornice to give the effect of a tower. Although more than half of this building is gone, parts of the elegant lobby remain in the most recent conversion to offices. The street on the south side has been closed and made into a pedestrian mall. The south side of the old building is obscured by the addition of a contemporary entrance lobby and elevator shaft.
