Romanesque Revival and bungaloid elements, an unusual mix, prevail in this large clapboard house on a rough-faced red sandstone foundation culminating in porch balustrades. Tuscan columns and a porte-cochère add classical touches to the home of cattle baron and business tycoon Augustus R. Gumaer. In 1994 it was converted to a funeral home.
