A second-story frame oriel above the clipped corner distinguishes this large, two-story red brick commercial building. Constructed as the Ewry Building, it houses the Elks lodge, with the town's oldest bar, on the second floor. Four first-floor storefronts flank a round-arched central entry. Rough stone sills and lintels decorate second-story windows below a diapered frieze and corbeled cornice. A mural, The Four Seasons, was painted in 1992 by Creede artist Stephen Quiller.
