Creede's high school and library (1947) is a rustic structure of logs used horizontally, vertically, and at various diagonals. The roof and entry are gabled. The same Denver architect used a similar log design for his adjacent Lamb Elementary School (1963), but added clerestory ribbon windows. Crawford also designed the gym and recreation center (c. 1970) for this complex, whose school library doubles as the public library.
