Late Beaux-Arts classicism influenced the massing of this monumental, two-story red brick building with central entry loggia and wings. Six fluted, full-height Ionic columns front the recessed entry of three bronze doors topped by transoms with wrought iron grilles. Both limestone and terracotta are used for detail, including a dentiled cornice below a parapet with antefixes. Red tile covers the metal hipped roof. Inside, most of the original bronze detail and dark-stained wood-work remain, augmented by a 1980s
