At the street corner of this two-story red brick and white-trim commercial block, attached to the second floor, is a projecting bay tower with a spired roof—a grouping so thin and narrow that it suggests an enlarged pencil. The ground floor storefronts have been remodeled, but the second floor remains as built, its lower band connecting the window sills and the upper band connecting the headers of paired windows. The original chimneys almost seem to peer from above the wide cornice.
