A Presbyterian church is cast as a Roman Doric temple: there is a pedimented porch with Ionic columns, steps, podium, and all. The use of brick for the walls tends to push the building slightly into the Greek Revival phase of the 1920s Colonial Revival. The plan of the building is in the form of an “H,” with the upper two floors set upon a high raised basement.
