The style of this church is loosely Romanesque, but not of the Richardsonian variety. The composition of the entrance facade of this church works around the theme of walls with vertical recessed panels and gable roofs. The long, narrow wing to the right has a deeply cut arched opening balanced on each side by two shallow panels. The open wood-shingled tower was added in 1887 during a rebuilding of the church after a fire.
