A popular image for recreational buildings throughout the country from 1900 through the 1930s was the Mission Revival style or the later Spanish Colonial Revival style. The composition of this stucco-sheathed building with its paired low, hip-roofed towers and central loggia is Mission rather than Spanish Colonial Revival, although the proportions of the three-arched loggia are reminiscent of the Spanish Colonial Revival.
