This outdoor baseball stadium of brick and stucco was styled in a combination of late1920s Art Deco verticality and 1930s Streamline Moderne horizontal stripping. The principal ticket booth and adjoining gateposts are particularly effective, posing as miniature buildings. The project was one of those in Clinton sponsored by the WPA. Also in Riverview Park is the Memorial Flag Pole (1930); its base displays cast bronze figures designed by Leonardo Runcelle. It is located in the park off the east end of Fifth Avenue South.
