The large-scale arched windows of the upper floor of this brick commercial block convey a slight hint of the Romanesque. Three squat columns on the street level separate the entrances from the adjoining glass area, and they support a lintel formed by a single I-beam embellished with small rosettes. Recent “stylistic” improvements have provided awnings of rustic shake shingles.
