Oscar T. Booth House

Built for lumberman Oscar T. Booth, the L-shaped wooden Italian Villa has a balcony in the square tower, a finial atop a flared pyramid roof, and a decorative entablature. The house has paired windows and a large porch on the south side with carved posts and a cast-iron balustrade. The carriage house on the grounds dates from the same period. Local tradition attributes the design to the same architect-builder as the Italianate DeLano Inn ( AE4).
